Beyond School Walls Mentoring

I would like to see ASU students become mentors to youth on campus, at ASU, once a week for about an hour. This "Beyond School Walls" concept will expose youth to a college campus and help the young kids start thinking about college and what they want to do with their life beyond elementary school. ASU students can bring the elementary students to the MU for lunch, head over to the SRC to work out, tour the campus and dorms and even sit in on a class to let the child see exactly what college life is all about and why higher education is important for their future.
