Building Energy Efficient Homes

The purpose of this multi-disciplinary organization focuses on the solution of indigenous communities lack of sufficient housing. This solution provides the opportunity for indigenous communities access to affordable housing that will enhance indigenous culture and sustainable living while promoting community building and education.

IndiGenius Development's initiative is to become a non-profit organization that focuses on providing ASU students the ability to build energy efficient homes for indigenous communities through gaining a connection with the indigenous tribes that allows the students to have an understanding of the cultural home design. The connection is gained through outreach, volunteering opportunities, and one on one collaborations with tribal authority figures and people of the communities.
