Girl Scouts—Arizona Cactus-Pine Council is the Changemaker Partner of the Month for March. Natalie Walker is an Ambassador Girl Scout from Troop 1664 and she poses the Girl Scouts’ Challenge Question: What can we do to empower more young women in our community to reach their full potential?
The Girl Scouts strive to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make our world a better place. Their mission is a reality, as many women leaders were once Girl Scouts.
Currently, the Girl Scouts—Arizona Cactus-Pine Council, which covers the northern 2/3 of Arizona, only reaches 5.6% of girls within that region. Because of the benefits of Scouting, the Girl Scouts want to reach more girls, because today’s girls are tomorrow’s future.
