Changemaker.com is a social networking platform that combines the usability of Facebook, the professional networking of Linkedin, and the intermedia collaboration of Dropbox. It is aimed specifically towards Earth scientists, political scientists and engineers. Changemaker.com is based off of the quote from Dr. Michael Crow’s paper “None Dare Call Hubris” it’s a place where political scientists can talk to earth scientists and earth scientists can talk to engineers, to create a better and more sustainable future for our planet. It is in a way a “social” network, but another word that fits much better is collaboration. It is facilitating a conversation between those three distinct groups of people to make the future.
