Cheaper food @ ASU Poly

Economy Solution by matt r on October 7, 2011 at 11:07 AM

I was blown away when I first came into the Union at ASU Polytech to buy food as a freshman. The prices are unreasonably high, and I feel that ASU is taking advantage of students living on campus that don't have any other way to go eat off of campus. Just because they have a monopoly on the food, doesn't mean its right or fair to take advantage of us poor, starving college students! Tuition has already gone up 10% in the last year, and even if you have a vehicle to drive, a parking permit costs $280.00. My solution would be to work with Admin, as well as ASU Food Services to find ways to lower the costs of food, and dry foods- such as cereal, and to get a better variety of food available in the Student Union at the Polytechnic Campus of ASU.
