DUI Prevention
I propose that each academic department has a DUI prevention calling list. A list of volunteers that are on call each weekend to pick up students from bars and drop off at home. For Free.

unfortunately, current state laws & AZ Board of Regents (ABOR) policies do not allow staff nor faculty to share vehicles unless it is a university sponsored event and each student has signed a waiver/release agreeing that they will not file suit against the university/state/ABOR if they are injured in an accident.
I believe it would be better if we as a citizenship lobbied our state & local governments to allow Autonomous cars the right to operate on our roads.
Taxes on alcohol on the county, city, & state levels could be used to purchase/subsidize a fleet of autonomous cars for this purpose. In fact perhaps a partnership between local businesses, alcohol manufacturers & local governments to make this happen.
