End Religious Conflict - let the Gods Battle to the Death

There is far too much violence in our world due to religious conflict. To resolve this colossal problem we mortals should let the immortals battle instead. In the Bible in the book of 1 Kings chapter 18 the prophet Elijah sets up a battle of the gods to prove that the God of Israel is the one true God. I simply suggest that we attempt to replicate this experiment. Let every world religion set up an alter in one place and let the world witness which immortal(s) answer the call. And so that there is no room for excuses, let atheists set up an alter also and if atheists can make fire fall from the sky upon their alter before any immortal can then humanity will have proved that God(s) don't exist. Now that we have mass media, at the end of the experiment the world will know the truth of the matter once and for all.
