Develop an enzyme capable of catalyzing a reaction with mercury within ichthyological organisms, (namely pelagic species), such that that the enzyme would facilitate the biological expulsion, or transport to, an excretory system, of said mercury molecules. The creation of this enzyme would be in the interest of preserving mankind's abiltiy to safely consume pelagic resources.
