First Generation Scholars

My idea is provide First Generation college students with the much needed support and guidance they don’t get from their parents, who did not attend college. By means of seminars, career counseling, connections and various other sources in order to assure they graduate with potential job offers and a better chances to succeed than those who did not receive support and guidance. Based on a peer-to-peer mentoring and advisement from those currently in the desires program those students want to join. The knowledge passed down by others will help those underneath reach places otherwise unknown to them.
