Create a campus wide newsfeed highlighting current events abroad and paralleling them to similar events which have occurred/occurring here at ASU/Phoenix/USA. The major emphasis is on empathy and pointing out the similarities between events. As ASU overcomes challenges, it is probable other institutions worldwide are also confronting those same challenges. The newsfeed should not be confined to college events but include all types. For instance, an education article can focus on the similarities in multi-lingual classroom challenges here in the US and in Turkey. The articles can be written by anyone. Potential core market writers are ASU Walter Cronkite Journalism students, international students, and students who have traveled abroad through ASU related courses. These students have the expertise and experience to relate global challenges to those seen here.
