Global awarness and community unity

I would like to implement community service hours on people who receive Grants through their University. At ASU alone more than 10000 students receive Fin Aid through Grants which is basically free money. These students would mandatory hours, to get to every semester, were placed into the community doing work (major related so they are getting first hand experience) in areas of need of the city and state. If ASU is the pioneer for this Grant community service place program we could be the trend setter for Universities around America. WE can create a better society by getting first had experience that will look amazing on our resume, but will get national attention and not only make ASU a more highly regarded university which makes our degree worth more in the professional world. Even though this is very beneficial for the students it's more so for the underprivileged community in our state, and if other universities adopt our idea it can benefit more communities around America.
