How to make the post office a money generating entity
While snail mail is going the way of the dinosaur, it still does get use and postage costs to us keep rising.
Rather than the consumer pay for the stamps and other costs of mailing, why not make postage into media. Offer to let companies advertise on all surfaces of mail, i.e., stamps, priority boxes and envelopes, etc. By the time Coke and Pepsi or Bud Lite and Miller Lite got done duking it out for space, the postage system would be showing a profit instead of a loose and our postage costs might drop significantly.
