Language Learning at the Elementary School Level
Human Rights Solution by Nicole T on February 5, 2012 at 12:05 PM
All people are different, but its when we realize how similar we are that we can believe that all people deserve to be treated equally. My solution is small and simple, it wont change everything, but if one person grows up with a broader worldview than that may be enough. That's why I think foreign languages should be taught in America starting at the elementary school level. An exposure to language and culture can complete change a person's view of the world. Through this I believe the next generation will be more understanding and prepared to live in a global society with peace and equality.
