The Quanta: Engaging High School Students in Science Research

Based in Phoenix, The Quanta Foundation LLC is student initiative started in 2011 that creates an interactive community of high school students, college mentors, and faculty affiliates through collaborative projects that encourage science communication. These research projects are intended to catalyze a passion within each student for pertinent science research within one’s own community. These projects simultaneously serve as a bridge between high school and college to increase the college-going culture within Arizona.

As a nationally scalable and sustainable venture, The Quanta Foundation intends to improve the quality of scientific understanding and college preparedness among high school students across the U.S.
