Apathy and ignorance have corroded Arizona's education system to become the 2nd worst college-going state in America, an unprecedented recognition for a state with so many resources. The Quanta provides a spark to tackle this complex issue and catalyze change in the people most affected by this environment: students.

Since becoming involved with The Quanta Foundation, I have seen immense growth and change for the better. One thing that I believe truly sets this group apart is their dedication to iteration - with each new step, I have witnessed and participated in the deep consideration of how to best improve the services we provide to the community. I am proud to be a member of group that is conscious of community needs and is not afraid to push the limits of former ideals to produce a more effective product. Ultimately, I believe that The Quanta will go far because of this unique and essential attitude.

The Quanta is just what Arizona needs! With a network to help young Arizonans become interested in STEM careers, this project seems like it could make a powerful impact on our state.

This is an excellent idea! I hope that this really takes off soon so it can create some change!

Great work ya'all. Keep it up.

This sounds like an amazing way to inspire and motivate high schoolers to get more involved in STEM, something that's especially pertinent now with the US's sliding international test scores.

The Quanta as an organization has really hit the ground running. As a mentor over this last semester I have experienced the dynamism and energy. What strikes me even more is the potential and ability for expansion of this organization to include more schools as well as other facets of the academic experience. It makes perfect sense that such an organization with dynamism and possibility for growth would come to fruition in Phoenix Arizona, a city which has seen astounding development and expansion in all sectors. It will be fascinating and momentous to witness and be a part of this up-and-coming organization in the Arizona academic environment.

This venture seems extremely thought provoking. How should a school go about having the Quanta Foundation work with their students? Its great to see such genuine motivation and enthusiasm from these students!

Jennifer, I am a mentor for the current project that the Quanta is working on with CREST high school. This program has provided such a solid framework to allow the high schoolers, mentors, and professors at ASU to work in tandem on a research project, which greatly enriches the educational experience of these students. If you get an opportunity to incorporate the Quanta into your curriculum I would not hesitate to do so!

Hi Jennifer! I'm currently a Cohort Coordinator for the Quanta Foundation, and I will be serving as Vice President this coming fall. In the upcoming months, our team will be reshaping our mentoring model into an innovative online platform designed for flexible access for schools and students across the state and even the country! To get your school involved with the Quanta Foundation, please send an email to info@thequanta.org, so that our staff can discuss how to best serve you and your school.
