Raising Awareness of Africa

Sport has always brought people together. Football (soccer) is known as the most famous sport with more than 3.5 billion fans worldwide. I have always wanted people to know more about Africa, rather than just a "COUNTRY" south of Europe or west side of the Middle East. But actually an entire "CONTINENT", the 2nd largest continent in the world with a population 3 times the U.S population and an area 3 times the one of the U.S. My idea was to organize a football tournament were the raised funds will go back in Africa to help the youth pursue their dream either in the educational field or the athletic field. Since the fund will go to Africa, I'm sure people will want to know more about this continent with 54 countries, different cultures, not just this single story (hunger, poverty...) that's being passed from generation to generation through the media.
