The Recyclanthropist Initiative

Sustainability Solution by Cans for Causes on October 18, 2011 at 10:46 AM

Recycle a can.
Donate a nickel.
Change the world.
Recyclanthropy is the fusion of recycling and philanthropy. Recyclanthropists are people that provide continual financial support to any personally important cause through the everyday act of recycling. The Recyclanthropist Initiative enables people to donate money from empty deposit beverage containers to any good cause. The Recyclantropist Initiative will have a fleet of vehicles and friendly account service representatives to make regular collections of deposit beverage containers from businesses, non-profits, schools, and other organizations. These organizations benefit from the free collection service offered, which helps them decrease their environmental footprint through sensible recycling, and are empowered to support any worthwhile cause through continual micro-donations.

I also think that this concept is really neat--something that has a lot of potential.
