Reducing Greenhouse Gases Emitted by Motor Vehicles

With the invention of the hybrid vehicle, it seems more likely that we would understand the effect of greenhouse gases emitted by our vehicles is no joke to our environment and our existence. However, that is not the case. In fact, being an online student at Arizona State University is what really engraved the effects of greenhouse gases with a course such as Astronomy. It is beneficial that we teach others, regardless of education to not only be knowledgeable but to truly care about this issue. We need to find more immediate solutions than having to invest in a new car. Most can't afford the transition and even then the new hybrids still emit carbon gases. I propose we come up with a mandatory yet affordable, universal carbon attachment that will work in eliminating carbon emissions in new or used vehicles all over the country. If there already is one; we need to stop waiting and make it available! :)
